0&0.5: Words and Forewords
- The expeditionary party is selected from a group of applicants through a series of inane military trials. The rejected candidates take their leave from the Fulcrum training grounds. Matthias shares with his elected band, though a story told by the light of a campfire, a glimpse of the horror stories that await them in the wastes. Each character joins in, in turn: taking their turn to share a story of their own. Stories of heroes, monsters, natural forces, and the shadows of the Wyld that lurk and corrupt no matter what country they each hail from.
01: Steel and Salt
- A late night conversation between Taz and Barden reveal the obvious attraction between the barbarian and Oeidur. But the mage's advances end with a request for patience and a firm rejection. The next morning, the party sets off from the city of Baphelan towards the border between Abjur and Skyholm. After a long-awaited rematch between Matthias and Barden, who knew each other as knights in training, the group passes through Fenfeld and the Asnan mountains. While Barden teaches Kyara how to scare off thieves, Oeidur sways Taz'rael into helping her empty the pockets of an oblivious scholar. Kyara charms an enervated tiefling working at the border after Taz and Matthias fail to bargain the price of their rented boat down.
02: Drowning in the Sky
- As the expeditionary force sets out across the flooded flats of Skyholm towards Aithrai, warm conversations begin the process of turning these strangers into potential allies. Except for Oeidur, who cautions her animated book familiar to keep their secrets to himself, and then discovers the group is being magically spied upon.
- The members of the expedition complete their trip from Fenfeld to the outskirts of Aithrai. After deciding to attend a party, they arise at midnight to prepare. The gathering is held by students at the College of Aithrai, offering a variety of liquor and drugs. After partaking in these delights, four of the group collapsed under the effects of dream mist, leaving Oeidur to navigate the skimmer alone into the city.
03: Waking Dreams
- Each of the characters, in turn, face a series of dreams. Kyara dances with her patron, Agnida, in the ballroom of the Ignited Citadel and remembers the moment of her pact with Fyrelord Tsadevi Rajaan. Matthias wanders the cold tombs of the Keep of the Forgotten with his mother. He shares a kiss with a past lover before the dream is crushed by the presence of Bone. Taz'rael's nostalgia for his old home, a private house outside of the Ignus Royal Academy, is tainted by the memory of the doppelgänger who stole the identity of his partner. As the memory flickers between Velhiri's warmth and their cold skin, he finally triumphs and slays the creature once again. Barden finds herself in a strangely familiar place, like something out of her favorite story: the Moonlight Cathedral, overrun with dark bug-like monsters She steps into the role of her hero, Syr Feverfew, to slay the beasts, and then comes face to face with the legendary knight herself. A pale figure reaches for her and she awakes, choking on the taste of honey. And Oeidur, kept awake by the company of their spell book Darren and the drug Sundrop burning in their veins, steers the skimmer beneath the city of Aithrai. They slay two crocodiles single-handedly as the party sleeps, despite a frantic dip in the water of the tunnels, and then collapse into a trance by the Lowgate as the morning sun begins to rise.
- Recovering from their unusual drug-fueled dreams, the party finds lodging in the city at the Horquill Cottages. Shaken but buoyed by greasy food, they prepare for their meeting with Fulcrum and enter Castle Aithrai, along with some of the most powerful mages, royalty, & nobility from around the world. After meeting Matthias's mentor and a speech from Sur Silverhawk, it's time to fight a fire elemental!

- After spending their well-earned funding on expedition materials, the party split in two to seek evening entertainment. Matthias, Barden, and Kyara enjoyed the tale of Feverfew and the Wyrm at the Pocklefest Theatre while Óeiður and Taz'real plotted a heist at the Cordial Duxor Casino. Both were interrupted by faces and memories from the past: Plutarch Lovelace taunted Óeiður through a high-stakes high-reward gambling game, while Fyreknight Petra, chasing Kyara, brought the party face to face with her hellhounds.
